Who are we? First and foremost, we are all home owners in the beautiful area of Giudecca in Venice, Italy, going as often as our family and professional commitments will allow to enjoy the homes that we have all furbished with loving care. A small minority of our community have the enviable advantage of living full time in Venice, having upped their roots in the distant or recent past to enjoy that most magical of cities on a full time basis.
It is to them that we have entrusted the care of our Venetian homes in our absence, and it is through them that you will be able to contact us to live the incredible experience of Venice in one of our apartments for a brief space in time.

Janys
A veteran of the travel trade and a resident of Venice for more than 33 years, Janys provides on-the-spot co-ordination, supported by a dedicated team of local residents with intimate knowledge of venues and suppliers.
A well-known and popular member of the Venetian community, one-time political representative for cultural events, she alternates care of our dream homes on Giudecca with occasional translation and web design studies and work for contemporary art organizations, exhibitions and events.

We have done our best to research a number of useful addresses for you which might prove helpful in putting together absolutely all you will need for that very special party or event here in Venice.
Wherever possible, we have included an e-mail address, web site and contact details for them so that you do not feel obliged to use what can sometimes prove to be the rather expensive assistance of local organizations. In a city like Venice, most suppliers connected in some way with tourism, will almost certainly speak enough English to allow you to communicate adequately with regard to each specific requirement.
Nevertheless, our "guardian angels" might be able to assist you at least in part with your special arrangements from the bunch of flowers, to the hire of a vaporetto for a private function or a meal for 50 in a Palace on the Grand Canal. Even something as banal as some bread, milk and butter in the fridge awaiting your arrival!
